Oil Lubricated Rotary Vane Vacuum Pumps for Milking machines

SV-PUMPS manufacture Rotary Vane Oil Lubricated vacuum pumps for milking machines. Vacuum pumps are used to evacuate (remove air) the pipelines and tubes connecting the milking machines to the cows.  By removing the air molecules from the system, its overall pressure is reduced well below atmosphere.  Then simple vacuum physics takes over and the higher pressure milk flows through the lower pressure pipelines from the cows to the milking receptacle.  In the majority of milking machines it is a rotary exhauster driven from either an electric motor or a stationary internal combustion engine, using pulleys and V-belts. This gives flexibility with speeds ranging from about 800-1500 r/min and a corresponding angel of pump capacities to suit several sizes of milking machines. When operating a vacuum at the pump inlet suitable for milking cows (50 kPa), the pumping capacity should be sufficient for the total number of milking units connected. The pumps are fitted with drive belt guards, an effective silencer and, for oil lubricated pumps, an oil separator.
